The Origin of Storm Maverick

INTRODUCTION

A wrestler and an EDM artist that also DJs. Mario Grande, that goes by the stage name Storm Maverick, is a North Carolina native. He grew up loving wrestling and music and one day wanted to become a wrestler and a musician. Storm Maverick is a $5 Wrestler that wrestled in $5 Wrestling as well as GOUGE Wrestling (Gimmicks Only Underground Grappling Entertainment). Storm Maverick's music is all over the major online stores like Amazon, Google Play, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and more. His music is unique with influences in not only EDM, but also rock and hip hop as well. An experimental side to EDM that will take you to another world just by listening to Storm Maverick's music.

STORM MAVERICK THE WRESTLER

Storm Maverick was trained by Seymour Snott who he met at a GOUGE Wrestling show. After learning a few moves, Storm Maverick met Jimmy Jack Funk Jr. Jimmy mentioned that he would be great to wrestle in $5 Wrestling. Storm Maverick was told to submit an audition tape. Storm Maverick cut a promo as well as wrestled a pillow to show his athleticism. He got the attention of Jake Manning. Jake Manning was the promoter of $5 Wrestling. Jake Manning put him on the card to wrestle his first match with Raider Rock on the show called  "This Many". His audition tape made it on the This Many DVD as well. Storm Maverick will later on appear on the $5 Wrestlng DVDs "Rumble At A Rec Center", "5ever" and "All Gimmicks Needed" from Highspots.com. He will also wrestle in a few of GOUGE Wrestling's shows as well.

STORM MAVERICK THE MUSICIAN AND DJ

Storm Maverick has been a musician ever since he was five years old. His first instrument was a guitar that his grandfather gave him on his birthday. He also had a drum set when he was a teenager. Storm Maverick discovered music apps and was experimenting with them when he was in college. Before that, he was recording songs on his computer by writing lyrics, singing and then playing guitar on the top of it. The music apps he used was not the digital audio workshops that people will use today. He saw a friend in college producing music and was really intrigued with the application he was using and wanted to give it a try himself. He discovered FL Studio. After graduating college and getting a job; Storm Maverick bought a laptop and a set of speakers. In 2009 he started to produce music using FL Studio 9. It wasn't until 2012 that he discovered EDM. He really liked the WWE Network commercial when the Skrillex remix of Benny Bennasi "Cinema" was played. He really fell in love with that style of music ever since. He released his first album on Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify and ect. on February 12th, 2012. He has released since then over eight albums and EPs since then which equals to over 100 songs being released total. As a EDM DJ. He already had DJ skills from mixing rock and hip hop tracks as playlist. He has been making playlist since he was a teenager. He started making EDM playlists since 2013. He has made over 30 EDM Playlists and all of them are on Spotify. After releasing so much content; he is now focused on getting more people to know his music and is settling with the playlist and songs he already has.
