How A Man Should Love His Woman

It’s a great thing to have love in your heart because God is Love and it’s an amazing thing when you find a woman you want to spend the rest of your life with. This is for a single man, like myself, that can embrace the love that a woman craves from a man. It’s a covenant between two people towards God and it’s what has been recalled by myself from what I have learned in the Orthodox Church and my own experiences with love. I do not claim to be an expert of knowing all the details, but I write from the heart when it comes to finding true love that is out there waiting to start a family with you.
Like the title states, loving a woman is like Christ loving the church. They help the kingdom which is yet to come. Building your household is a team effort between you and your future wife. It’s essential to collaborate with her to make sure everything in the home is in order. While you do this, you are glorifying God the whole entire day. My father said it best. At the top is God and right below that is family. Give glory to God for all things because It’s God’s grace that enables you to have things in the future, including a family.
It may be a little more complex to just be a good Christian married to another good Christian though. There are going to be times you may not get along with your wife. In the back of your mind remember she is on your team. Her love is there for you because she is a good Christian woman. There’s a big difference on love between Christian women versus secular women. A Christian woman’s love is constant. Even if there’s turmoil in the relationship, the best thing to do is pray together and come to a conclusion of what both agree the solution is. Give her mercy like God has given you mercy. That’s love.
You should as a man live a life where nothing is hidden from your wife at the same time it wouldn’t affect her to know everything you do, especially when you go out and what you do on your phone. It’s said a woman needs to be a man’s peace, but you also need to be your future wife’s peace as well. Give her all the love and support you can and you have to earn her trust. She needs someone to be there for her with all their heart. She just needs you if she decides to marry you to get that from you.
The rest you can work out on your own. I just felt these were the essentials to write about and of course I left something out. The best thing to do is to learn from each other as you go along this journey, put God first. It’s essential God is the head of the relationship in all things including marriage.
